We’re not the only online bakery shop in Moscow but we’re totally one of those who would never put the looks first — the quality of the ingredients we use and the product’s storage life are more important. That’s exactly why we use only natural ingredients: fresh fruit, selective nuts, refined chocolate and high class cane sugar. For creams we’ll use cheese base (Mascarpone, Philadelphia), natural cream, butter and Madagascar vanilla beans. You won’t find any preservatives, artificial flavors or margarine in our dishes — we simply don’t use them. The desserts we produce will always have a magnificent taste and high quality”

Task: To get orders of confectionery products through Facebook advertising

The client had already had a rather negative experience before collaborating with us — they had collaborated with 4 other teams who hadn’t given them any result, they’d just wasted their money.

They opted for us because they saw our advertisement and left a request. We had a call, got acquainted and our team showed the client possible advertising strategies for their business. The client decided to give another chance to targeting with us as they really longed for some result in their project.

We would always start our work with the Market Research and Competitors analysis, we figure out what types of ads our competitors launch on Facebook and Instagram and what offers they give. Moreover, we get all the necessary info from the client to take the next step.

As the offer was getting a customized cake ready in 24 hours, we chose the quiz marketing strategy.

It’s an easy way to entertain oneself and learn something new. Brands will use the gaming quiz dynamic to attract the audience's attention and not scare them off with the direct advertising of their projects.

The research shows that Instagram users click on 82% of quizzes their feed shows them and actively share the results afterwards. The reason for the obvious success of the format is that it doesn't require the user neither effort nor time but helps them to entertain themselves not putting their phone down. Having taken the quiz the person gets personified recommendations, alternative solutions to their problem with the help of the advertised project; a gift or a discount. Marketing specialists can cut the cost-per-lead twice thanks to this option.

We agreed upon 5 qualification questions, created a landing with the quiz where the potential client would get a bonus for taking the test.

We created the website, connected the domain with the Facebook Business Manager, installed Pixel and UTM.

Then we had to make a creative video that would make the client stand out of all the competitors. We made a scenario and created a 15 sec video where we sent all the necessary messages both with the text and visually.

Having settled some minor questions with the client, we prepared the Facebook Ads Manager and started the campaigns. Those campaigns included targeting the broad audience and the audience by interests and retargeting. While collaborating we’d been testing different audiences to keep the same good result.
